From 3 Virtual Conversations for the love of Y.O.U.
In our inaugural conversation, titled What's Working, we delved into the current landscape of Youth of Unity, examining its strengths and areas for improvement.During our second dialogue, Come Together, we formed six essential teams to further our work in Youth of Unity, marking their maiden assembly. This conversation also saw the introduction of innovative ideas and reinforcements emerging from our 500x90 initiative.Our third and final focused dialogue, Inspired Action, took place on May 11, 2023, where our teams convened once again to take motivated steps towards our goals.

Chapter Support
This team will handle:
Creating a list of Youth of Unity chapters
Curriculum creation and collection - bringing all of it together
Creating systems of checking in on chapters
Contacting churches to create new chapters
Working with regions to support getting chapters active enough for regional events
●Support for the time before Y.O.U. including: ○○Youth Ed that leads to Uniteens ○○Uniteens that leads to Y.O.U. ●Support for Y.O.U.ers in Unity including: ○○Local Church Membership ○○Local Board service ○○S.E.E. classes for Y.O.U.ers
●Creating a space for Y.O.U. alumni to reach back out to Y.O.U. ●This team will collect resources including: ○○Next Gen Unity ○○Y.O.U. Alumnni Network ○○Nehemiah Retreats ○○Any of the 500x90 committees
●Creates consistent method for Y.O.U. to have social media presence ●This team will help promote: ○○Local Chapters ○○Chapter X ○○IYOU ○○The entire Y.O.U. experience
●Creating multiple spaces at Unity Village that honor Youth of Unity and it's history. ●Ideas include: ○○Revamp Y.O.U. bench ○○Label for Y.O.U. fountain ○○Create app with Y.O.U. history ○○Space for Y.O.U. history at Unity Village
●Working to have multiple streams of funding for International Y.O.U. to help all parts of Y.O.U. ●Fundraising Ideas Include: ○○Text to donate ○○Hall of fame idea ○○Online Auction for Y.O.U. Memorabilia

Inside Come Together: The Next Chapter of 500 by 90
Get ready! This is the second conversation in the 500 by 90 series. We have the sections before our teams broke out into groups and then when they come back - WOW - all of the work that they did after that.
On March 23, 2023, a dedicated group of volunteers came together on zoom and spent time talking on and working on the top six teams. While it was brief and ended too soon, it's exciting to see what these teams have already done, and what they are about to do!Watch this space for the video from the evening as well as more information on what these teams are doing for Youth of Unity!
The latest phase of 500x90 has been getting ready for Come Together. The process has been truly enlightening, as we have now released one foundational idea (Direct Membership) and 11 teams that will be put into place in three phases, called the Task Force. We are excited to share this with alumni and have them join and lead these teams.This section has also been created formerly into a blog, which is great. It's amazing to see the process unfold for 500x90.

We had representatives from each region. We had current and former YOUers, sponsors, parents, and consultants. We bravely looked at the 86-year history of Youth of Unity and began discussing our next steps.We are so excited to share this conversation with you as we continue this journey. Learning about the Unity Worldwide Ministries vision about 500 people at IYOU from a fellow Y.O.U. Alumni turned Executive Director is intense. Our Y.O.U. history presentation, which is a foundation for this work is a piece we are excited about.We also had the honor of hosting a variety of voices being vulnerable and brave while celebrating, grieving, and honoring Youth of Unity.
